(By Rachel Joyce)
We remember You, O Lord our Saviour,
As we take the bread, we are grateful
For Your body broken for our sins,
The suffering You endured to set us free.
And we weep at the cost You paid
So we could live free.
As we take the wine, we are thankful
For Your blood, which purged our sins
And made us clean in Your sight.
No shame or reproach, only love,
Grace, and acceptance from You.
So we exult in Your love.
We are well aware of our unworthiness,
Our sinful hearts, our failures, and faults,
But we rejoice in Your great redemption,
And marvel at such love and grace
As we worship and adore the One
Who gave all so we could be Yours.
