Accepted.
Pause for a few moments.
Let the word sink deeply
To your core:
Accepted.
In the Beloved,
The pure and holy Jesus,
We are as accepted
By God the Father
As He.
By grace
Through faith, with empty
Hands and shame-filled
Hearts, we came and found
Forgiveness.
And more.
Through His blood,
We are clean.
In His love, we are
Treasured.
We believe;
Lord, help our unbelief.
Let the wonder of Your
Love and grace
Transform us.
“To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us” (Eph 1:6-8).
